Do Shorts and regular watch links both work?
Often yes for public, embeddable videos. Paste youtube.com/shorts/…, watch?v=…, or youtu.be/… — always check the preview before you save.
Can I delete everything after ? on watch?v= links?
No. Keep the v=VIDEO_ID parameter on watch URLs — only trim optional tracking params like si= if you want. Deleting from ? onward breaks the video id.
