Acceptable Use Policy

SMDownloader does not host, store, archive, publish, or redistribute third-party media. The service performs temporary, user-directed processing only for the purpose of responding to the user's request.
You must use SMDownloader lawfully and in line with third-party platform terms. The following uses are prohibited.
Prohibited uses
- Downloading copyrighted content without permission from the rights holder.
- Downloading private, restricted, paywalled, login-only, or DRM-protected content you are not authorized to access.
- Bypassing access controls, rate limits, geo-blocks, or other platform protections.
- Scraping, bulk automation, bots, or scripted mass downloading through SMDownloader.
- Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or downloading non-consensual intimate imagery or other harmful material.
- Reselling, reuploading, or publicly redistributing downloaded media without the necessary rights.
- Any activity that violates applicable law or a third party's terms of service.
- Attacks on the service, including malware distribution, denial-of-service attempts, or other actions intended to disrupt or overload our systems.
- Unauthorized scripted, API, or automated access outside normal browser use of the public website.
- Impersonating SMDownloader, our operators, or any other person or entity.
Public does not mean permitted
Content that appears publicly on a social platform may still be protected by copyright or platform rules. You are responsible for confirming you have permission before saving or reusing it.
Enforcement
We may block URLs, domains, IP addresses, or platforms, and suspend access to the service when we detect abuse. Report violations to abuse@smdownloader.com.
