What we do
SMDownloader helps you save videos, reels, Shorts, stories, and images from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube (Beta) when you paste a URL into the homepage downloader. We are an independent project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social platform.
SMDownloader does not host, store, archive, publish, or redistribute third-party media. The service performs temporary, user-directed processing only for the purpose of responding to the user's request. Each request is initiated by you in the browser; we route the URL through the matching extractor and stream bytes back to your device.
Editorial & use standards
Downloads are for content you created or have explicit permission to save. Openly viewable posts do not automatically grant a copyright license. Read our Acceptable Use Policy, Terms of Service, and Platform Disclaimer before submitting URLs.
