Open the video on bilibili.com
In your desktop browser, open the public Bilibili video watch page at bilibili.com/video/BV….

Select the part if the upload is multi-page (?p=)
For multi-part uploads (分P视频), click the episode part you want in the playlist box so the address bar includes ?p=2 (or your target part number).

Copy the BV URL from the address bar
Highlight the full bilibili.com/video/BV… URL in your browser address bar and press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac).

How do I download a specific part of a multi-part Bilibili video?
Keep the ?p= page query parameter in the URL (for example, bilibili.com/video/BV1xx411c7mD?p=3). SMDownloader reads the ?p= parameter to extract that exact part.
Do extra tracking parameters like spm_id_from matter?
No. You can copy the entire address bar URL as-is; our parser strips tracking parameters while preserving the BV ID and ?p= page number.
Do legacy av-prefixed Bilibili URLs work?
Standard BV-prefixed URLs (bilibili.com/video/BV…) are recommended. Open the video in your browser first so Bilibili normalizes the address bar to its BV identifier.
