Copy a Facebook video or reel link.
Public watch URLs and fb.watch short links from the share menu.

Open the public video or reel
Find the post on a public Page or profile. Group-only and friends-only videos cannot be fetched.

Tap Share
On mobile, tap Share under the post. On desktop, use the Share button below the player.

Copy link
Pick Copy link. Facebook may give you facebook.com/watch/?v=… or a short fb.watch/… URL — both work.

Paste on SMDownloader
Paste into the download field on smdownloader.com and click Extract. Save the previewed file to your device.

Reels often copy as facebook.com/reel/… instead of watch. Paste whichever format Share gives you — SMDownloader reads the post ID from both shapes.
