Save original full-scale images and photography portfolios

Pinterest serves as an inspiration catalog for illustrators, designers, and visual creators worldwide. When viewing pins in standard web feeds, Pinterest often displays downscaled preview thumbnails. SMDownloader resolves the true uncompressed originals from Pinterest CDN storage, allowing you to save master image files in their native resolution.

How to save full-resolution Pinterest images

  1. 01

    Copy the Pin link

Browse to the desired image pin on Pinterest, tap the Share button, and copy the link to your clipboard.

  2. 02

    Paste URL into search box

Paste the copied address into the input field above; our service queries Pinterest CDN nodes immediately.

  3. 03

    Store original image

Review the full-scale image dimensions in the result card, then click Download to save the original photo file.

Warum SMDownloader nutzen

  • Master quality preservation. Bypasses compressed web previews to fetch full-resolution assets from Pinterest originals storage in native dimensions.
  • Lossless PNG and JPG support. Maintains transparency on PNG illustrations and preserves color grading on high-resolution photography pins.
  • Idea Pin carousel extraction. Splits multi-slide story pins into individual full-size images so you can archive entire visual galleries in one go.
  • No account required. Retrieve public image pins directly without creating a Pinterest account or installing mobile application extensions.

Häufige Fragen

Are downloaded Pinterest images full resolution?

Yes. SMDownloader locates the master file stored on i.pinimg.com/originals, avoiding the downscaled 736x or 236x previews.

Can I download images from pin.it mobile links?

Yes. Shortened pin.it addresses are followed automatically to find the underlying original image asset.

Does SMDownloader add watermarks to saved Pinterest images?

No. All images are downloaded exactly as uploaded by creators, without overlays, modifications, or watermarks.

Can I save pictures from multi-page Idea Pins?

Yes. Each image slide from multi-page pins is extracted as an independent high-resolution photo file.
